Behavioral interventions for people with ADHD: an analysis of the literature and recent trends

Abstract

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition characterized by inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. Behavioral interventions have been shown to be effective in managing ADHD symptoms, particularly in children, by improving executive functioning, social behavior, and academic performance. This report reviews recent literature on behavioral interventions for ADHD, focusing on their mechanisms, effectiveness, and emerging trends. The findings emphasize the role of evidence-based strategies, parent and teacher involvement, and the integration of technology in enhancing intervention outcomes.
