dc.description.abstract | Phenothiazine and its derivatives are significant in medicinal chemistry due to their diverse pharmacological properties, including antipsychotic, antihistaminic, and antimicrobial activities. This study focuses on the synthesis of novel phenothiazine derivatives substituted with various carbon and nitrogen atoms. A series of compounds were synthesized using multi-step organic reactions, including nucleophilic substitutions and cyclization processes. The newly synthesized derivatives were characterized using spectral techniques such as NMR, IR, and mass spectrometry. Preliminary biological evaluations indicated enhanced antimicrobial activity in certain derivatives compared to parent phenothiazine, suggesting their potential as lead compounds for further development. | ru_RU |
