dc.description.abstract | There is provided a theoretical analysis of the temperature profile of a melting drop rotating
with a constant angular velocity around its axis and being influenced by an extended heat source in
an unstable regime of heating. The scaling factor of the heated body, as well as the power of heat
source and the velocity of rotation are proved to be of crucial importance for the temperature
profile of melt drop. This allows to control the process of cooling, as well as production-forming on
the disk brim. | |
