| dc.description.abstract | The paper discusses the problem of influence of the industrial enterprises’ innovative activities on their operation efficiency. Based on the analysis of the balanced panel data of nine Belarusian industries during 2002–2009, it was founded that, for some sectors the innovative activity is an insignificant factor of the operating benefits (and in certain cases being even a negative factor). This was due to the chronic under-financing of innovation, the poor financial status, the lack of development of competence in the field of innovative management and the insufficient innovative susceptibility of the enterprises, the absence of venture financing, innovation clusters and information infrastructure of innovation. | |
